Messages is the second piece we have commissioned from Patrick Zimmerli and premiered at the Bal Blomet in Paris on Dec 11, 2019. The commission is for a work for French jazz pianist Thomas Enhco, the classical saxophone quartet Quatuor Morphing, bassist Stéphane Kerecki, and drummer Fabrice Moreau. As with Aspects of Darkness and Light, it explores the the boundary between jazz and classical music.
Carl Vine, "Child's Play" (2017)
Carl Vine’s sixth string quartet premiered in Australia in August 2017, performed by the Takacs Quartet. This was a co-commission with Musica Viva and Carnegie Hall. The Takacs Quartet has performed the piece many times since its premiere, including at Meany Hall in Seattle in January 2018.
Abbie Betinis, "Rhapsodos" (2016)
A co-commission with the Minnesota Commissioning Club had its premiere at a Schubert Club event in St Paul in March 2016. A clarinet sonata by Abbie Betinis was preformed by Michael Collins, Clarinet, accompanied by Michael McHale. A Northwest premiere was performed at the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival in August of the same year.

A set of five songs, from poetry by Walter Benton was composed by Jake Heggie and premiered at The Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival on Orcas Island WA, in August 2012. The poetry and music is titled “This is my Beloved."
John Novacek, "Sounding Piece" (2011)
This cello sonata by John Novacek debuted at Festival Mozaic in San Luis Obispo on July 23, 2011. It was performed by cellist Michelle Djokic with the composer on piano.
Avner Dorman, "Lost Souls" (2009)
In 2009 we co-commissioned (with the Kansas City Symphony) a piano concerto by Avner Dorman called “Lost Souls.” It was written for and performed by Alon Goldstein in Kansas City on November 20th 2009.
